BEdita 3.1 - Release announcement

BEdita 3.1 stable codename "Ulmus" released


We would proudly announce that today BEdita 3.1 (code name “Ulmus”*) is being released officially.

The release of BEdita 3.1 follows three years of hard work, efforts and research: this release introduces many improvements, regarding both User Interface and the undergoing engine, and all known issues have been addressed. Noteworthy features amongst others:

  • content versioning;
  • auto–save mode of drafts;
  • concurrent access to managed content is signalled and managed;
  • new and improved front end examples, now featuring also the 2010 WordPress default theme "Twenty Ten";
  • support for PostegreSQL and SQLite;
  • BEdita modules now exist as CakePHP plug-ins, managed in the Admin module (a "sample plugin module" is bundled).
